About Your Doula
Hello! My name is De’Yonna and I’m serving the Colorado Springs, Monument, Fountain and Fort Carson areas. I have been a caregiver for over 10 years and I am eager for my doula journey. My goal is to help families have the birthing experience that they desire and a postpartum experience that is positively memorable. I’m eager to work in my community to help create a better birthing world.
I cannot recommend De’Yonna enough as a postpartum doula. She came into our lives after I was unexpectedly admitted for an emergency C-section, which was a physically and emotionally overwhelming experience. Her support during this time was truly invaluable.
De’Yonna prepared nourishing breakfasts for me, helped clean baby bottles, and lovingly cared for my newborn so I could rest and recover. She also took my older children on outings, giving me much-needed quiet time to heal. One of the most meaningful things she did was watch all of my children so that I could enjoy my birthday celebration and have a much-needed break. Her presence was calming, dependable, and incredibly supportive. She helped lighten the load during one of the most vulnerable seasons of my life, and I am so grateful for her care. Any family would be fortunate to have De’Yonna as their postpartum doula.
